What is DirectLaw’s process to build a law firm website?

• We build our websites using WordPress, which is the world’s most widely used content management system, powering 42-43% of all websites.
• We will send you a strategy questionnaire to help us tailor your website to your practice area and procedure.
• We will review your questionnaire and develop your website on a temporary domain so you can review it before it goes live.
• After all edits have been made and you have given your final approval we will launch your website.

What do we need from you?

• Your logo
• Your slogan
• Your headshot
• Your biography
• Content for your homepage

How long does it take?

• Once we have your completed strategy questionnaire and the items mentioned above, we generally take 3-5 business days to have your website ready for you to review.
• Depending on how many changes you have, your site can be ready to launch in 1-2 more business days.

How much does it cost?

• We charge a flat rate of $1750 to develop a new website with all the features mentioned.
• If you want content from your old website to be included on your new site, we charge $100 per page to migrate that content.
• You can choose any company that offers WordPress hosting to host your website. At launch time we will move your site to that company as part of the $1750 flat rate.
• Optionally we can host your website on our servers which are on Amazon Web Services for $20 per month. This includes nightly backups and keeping WordPress and all plugins updated.

What about updates?

• One of the reasons we build websites on WordPress is that once a site is set up, it is easy for end users to add or edit content.
• Included in the $1750 fee is a one-hour screen share where we show you how to make changes to your site.
• After that you or your staff will most likely to be able to make most changes yourself.
• If you want us to make updates or add content for you we will discuss the changes and quote a reasonable fee that we will not exceed.
